Hi there,
OU fan incoming. I'm excited about the move and would love to learn more about other
SEC schools. I'd love to hear from you all what you consider your schools to be your premier academic program? Sure, I could google it. But that wouldn't be as fun.
For us, it is meteorology. We are fortunate enough to have the US Storm prediction center and National Weather center on our south campus. Truly one of a kind. Half the kids I went to school with seemed to chase tornados in their spare time.

While it seems like an odd program to crow about (pardon the expression) it would probably be Poultry Science at Arkansas. Researchers and students from all over the world flock to NW Arkansas (I can't help myself) to study at our Poultry Science Center.
Americans consume about 200 pounds of chicken a year per person and its a godsend for places like China. Demand for trained food scientists is through the roof when it comes to poultry and thanks to Tyson plowing a butt load of money every year into the program the U of A is a world leader in the field.

UK’s College of Pharmacy is in the top ten in the country. Pharmacy faculty rank fourth for research.

Funny.
But the highest ranked programs are all in the Walton College of Business.
Supply Chain MGMT is probably #1.
The Walton MBA program is typically pretty highly ranked.

That was my second choice. I wasn't joking about Poultry Science, despite the comments. I had some over seas friends who came to Arkansas for that program.
To the rest of the world Arkansas is one of the gold standards, if not The Gold Standard, when it comes to Poultry Science. Countries like China are utterly dependent on birds (chickens, ducks, and so on) for their protein and spend accordingly.
Here in the US, yes, Supply Chain Management is a winner. World wide we hang our hat on our chickens.

Journalism is #1 in the country
Accounting and nursing programs are also ranked very high. Those are probably our top 3 as far as I know

I believe Accounting is Ole Miss's strength. Don't know our national rank.
