LSU's Ability to Rationalize is Second to None

I've seen my share of coach rationalizations. From A&M fans convincing themselves that Fran, Sherman, and Sumlin where the ones. Heck, we even do that to a degree with Jimbo. I've watched Texas fans do the same with Charlie, Herman, Sark, and every leftover assistant they've hired.
But LSU's rationalization of Brian Kelly takes the cake. It's clearly a square peg in a round hole situation, and LSU fans are convincing themselves they've made a homerun hire. The most clear situation is Corey Raymond, who has LSU running through his veins, and now all of the sudden he had nothing to do with DBU and is a traitor. Maybe, just maybe, your new coach sucks...none of his coordinators coming with him, your best assistant leaving...

Maybe so, but probably not. How about we just let him play a season or two and see. This seems like wishful thinking on your part. Have fun going 8-4 perennially.

I think Kelly realized he could come to LSU, lose to Saban 3 times and get paid way more in getting fired than Notre Dame was ever going to pay him.

You would make a better point without resorting to lying and trolling.
Several of Kelly's assistants are coming with him. And we don't yet know the final tally.
I don't care what other LSU fans say, Corey Raymond leaving sucks. We don't know the reasoning, although we do know he's been wanting the DC role for a while. But I love that dude.
Finally, there's no reason to think Kelly won't do well here. He's been a consistent winner at every stop in his career. He's left each program in better shape than it was when he inherited it.

aggie fans are acting like BK is a horrible hire for LSU... and like they care, is really disturbing. HOWEVER, they also act like jimbo is the next saban. But what has he actually done?? I mean it's been 4yrs.

I've never heard anything about him wanting to be a DC but folks are saying he wanted the AHC/recruiting coordinator role that Frank Wilson was hired for Tuesday.

The DBU thing was established way before CR got to LSU and it’ll continue after he’s gone. Going to a rival school is pretty traitorous especially for an alum.
