What are our chances, if BoB gets taken off our hands, and would you want him?

Yes, but we'll have to fight Miami first. This is assuming he doesn't get another shot in the NFL.

Maybe. Maybe not. Coaching another Heisman Trophy winner could be a draw. And Alabama is a better career move.
After getting fired, NFL teams may not be eager to take him in a lateral move. Carolina's offense has been pretty woeful.

Smart GMs will realize the numerous factors at player here (roster, etc.). Cristobal will need an oc, and Brady reportedly grew up a Canes fan.

I'd honestly like him to have more proven experience, because 2019 looks more like a fluke perfect storm as the years pass.
Was it Brady? Was it Burrow? Was it Emsfinger? Was it Chase/Marshall/CEH/Senior OL?

How was LSU's offense before Brady got there? It's like questioning Bobby Petrino b/c he was only an OC at Auburn for one year. Tom Jurich saw enough to make him HC and the rest is history.

Yeah. I always confuse the two expansion teams.

They weren't bad at all in 2018. There were a lot of bright spots they built on going into 2019. Lots of players got some really valuable experience.

Bobby also had a far superior resume, guy had been coaching since 1983. I don't really compare the two...

LSU fans say he didn't like recruiting.
Tom Herman produced consistently good offenses at Rice, Iowa State and Ohio State.

Experience is overrated, you're a good coach or not.

After OSU beat us in the first play off game, Saban flew Herman to T-town to breakdown how he attacked our offense.
This was the offseason between leaving OSU as the OC to go to Houston as the HC.

Sark struggling at UT as well, I guess he sucked as OC.

It's crazy they fired him. It's his qbs not his play calling.

Great players make great coaches.
As they say, it's the Jimmy's and Joe's, not the X's and O's.
Yeah, play calling needs to be good, but your calls look much better with great players.
That's why recruiting prowess and talent evaluation is #1 when it comes to college coaches

Burrow is pretty damn good on his own.
