Wouldn't you have thought we'd win? I get it, he's not "elite", but dang did we get beat in all phases today. 0 sacks? Gave up over 400 yards passing? They even out rushed us. I'm not discounting the interceptions, but we got obliterated on defense today, too. This sucks.

He did almost throw it 50 times.

350 with 3 TDs. The 2 picks hurt but still. This game was not lost because of Bennett.
I can’t figure out why some people lock on one dude to focus their wrath upon.
This game was lost because we couldn’t rush Bryce and he killed us with his 5* receivers. We got behind on the board and couldn’t run the ball like we want too and it fed into a death spiral.
We were moving the balll….we were scoring points. Bottom line is if we get to Bryce we win by double digits.

Yes stet is not the only reason we lost. He is just an easier target than our defense which has been outstanding up until this point. When you are the QB a lot more is placed on your shoulders good or bad. But we knew this all season, everyone questioned if stet had the ability to lead us from behind with his arm if the defense shat the bed and that question was confirmed in that we cannot win a shootout with stet vs. an elite offense that can score on our D.

Other playoff teams have elite quarterbacks. We just saw one today. Maybe Bennett just isn't good enough to win games like this.

Yeah, the defense looked back in the 2nd Q. Gave up 24 points that Q. While they were scoring our offense also went on two straight 3 and outs.
The defense settled in the 2nd enough for the offense to have more chances.
You can't expect an elite offense to be stopped these days. Stetson isn't bad. He's just not good enough when we need way more than freaking good enough at the most important position in football.

Bennett could have played better, but he played well enough to win.
If our defense doesn't figure it out, he could throw for 400 next time and it won't matter.

The only think I can think of with our defense is that we are still suffering flu or something.
Also, we miss Adam Anderson. I wish that would get cleared up (if he is innocent) before the playoffs, if we even make it in.

The defense let us down and cost us the game but let's blame the QB because he isn't a 5*?
We had a stretch in the 2nd half where we pressured Young and forced three straight 3 and outs, and got a TD to close within 14 points. Then Alabama adjusted and ran over and around us and we couldn't make another adjustment. Poor defense lost this game, not poor offense.

Edge rushers didn’t keep,contain all night and it cost us, blew coverages, they picked up every blitz and we literally stopped running the ball…but yea Stetson was the issue
