Start JT Daniels or lose a title

Nothing new to say here, folks. Start this man, or lose the season. This game is absolutely on the QB decision. Blaming the defense is trivial. Defenses just aren't dominant late in the season against elite offenses anymore. That's been proven time and time again over the last several seasons. They can still have good stretches in a game to stifle an offense for some drives, but a good QB and good WRs will get theirs in today's game. There's no doubt about it. Show me anything to the contrary in the playoffs over the last several seasons. You won't find it.
Many of us fans and some commentators have been pointing out all year that, yeah: great defense, but what if there is a game in which the other offense is clicking? What happens when the defense isn't historical every single freaking game and you're playing a great collegiate-leveled QB in the 2020's AND your QB is just a game manager?
You get a game that looks like what we just saw tonight folks.
JT Daniels did not lose his job because of his play. He's healthy now. Play the sum itch. Stetson, thank you, but it's time to go with California.
Will they do it? Wouldn't hold my breath, but it's so painfully obvious.

I truly believe we'll rematch Alabama in the NC. I think we can beat Michigan with Stetson at QB, but we have no chance against Bama with him.
Also, I don't think we'd beat Bama with Jt either, but at least he gives you a little more to think about. I just don't know how we stop them on defense.

Excellent synopsis. Unless he is unhealthy, how on earth does he lose the starting job? Kirby believes Stetson is better?

A few years back (after a UGA loss in the SECcg) I posted that we'd never see a SEC champ score less than 35 ever again.
I got crushed. Called prisoner of the moment, etc.
Today. I really hoped we might hold them to 28 and win. Didn't happen.
Outscore is the name of the game.

I'm of the opinion that he is healthy. I could be totally wrong and this and that......but JT's been playing when we're blowing teams out. He could absolutely go if they'd just let him

If JT isn’t healthy by now he’s just a pussy and faking it.

I’ve supported Stet, while also saying mid-season I didn’t think we could win a NC without JT. Both DGDs but I thought it was pretty obvious who had the higher ceiling.
I do wonder if there’s more to the JT story, as I’m surprised we never tried to get him ready for SECCG and beyond. Keep seeing rumors he may still be hurt but I also wonder if it’s an effort thing? JT almost seems to have checked out on the sidelines. I sometimes get the impression he doesn’t necessarily want to be in the game.
Maybe I’m also reading his sideline composure all wrong.

It's possible he's discouraged. Can't blame him. A 5 star guy with mainly injuries holding him back, but I think he's more than healthy late in the season to go. He played in the last three games of the regular season I believe when we were blowing teams out. He can go. There's no big mystery in my estimation other than the fact that Kirby thinks Stetson's the actual better choice.
Now I could be totally wrong and JT's just been hurt this entire time (even though he's come in during blow outs) but it really appears to me that they're just not playing him.

Um, it literally *always* has been. If you score more than the other team, you win. If you don't, you lose. Defense is simply one tool - hopefully, it limits the opponent's ability to score, and if you're really lucky, it even chips in a few points to help your offense.

JT doesn't necessarily have to be hurt. He could be physically recovered from his injuries, but struggling with his throwing, etc. Who knows.

He’s definitely not hurt. He is sitting for the same reason Justin Fields sat behind Fromm….dumbassery

What makes you think we will even be in the playoffs? We got the shite beat out of us and exposed

Do I think we deserve to be in? Nah. Do I think the committee puts Notre Dame in over us? He11 nah

Let me ask a serious question. What will you say if we start JT Daniels and do not win a title?
Are you going to hold the same standard for him as you do for Bennett?
Kirby Smart has said Bennett is the best option. The players have come out and said Bennett is the best option.
What is it that y'all see that Kirby and the players do not see on a daily basis?
Again, I really don't care who the QB is. We hired a coach to do the job and I am good with letting him make the decisions.

So you are all in on taking the decision out of Kirby Smart's hands?
