Well I think they paid him pretty well so they may be stuck with him for awhile win lose or draw.

I’m an LSU fan through and through and there’s a non-zero chance that the Kelly experiment blows up. It is a massive cultural difference and a rabid fanbase that doesn’t tolerate losing. I think he’s a great coach, but when you get someone outside their comfort zone, there’s always a risk. Add to that none of his former coaches coming in to help with culture change…you start to get a little worried. He has to nail these assistant hires. I really hope he does.
Then you jump to recruiting and the short time frame we have to close out some huge in-state targets.

I agree completely. Change was needed and I’m glad we got rid of O, but hiring Kelly specifically could work spectacularly or fail spectacularly. Either way we’re on the hook for at least 90 million.
Here’s to hoping he adapts quickly and pulls in the assistants and the recruits

4.5 would be a good over/under number for a betting line I think.
