LSU would get in as one of the top 6 conference champions if they win the SEC Title game. Then the other 3 would get in b/c of their CFP ranking. They'd probably end up hosting a game as the #4 Champ in fact.

I think 3-4 is the number, we'd probably get about 35 teams in the playoff over the first 10 years if they don't expand it again to 16 or 24.
I know we're better than any team in Louisiana.

That's what I'm thinking too but by then it may be too late. If FSU, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Miami all join the B1G Ten then that conference becomes a national conference and will have the SEC surrounded. The B1G will have a presence in the Deep South and programs like Ohio St., USC, Michigan, Nebraska, etc. will be recruiting our kids. IMO the SEC is making a mistake by not at least adding Clemson and Florida St. both of which are national brands.

Don't worry, if they become available in the future then we'll talk to the ones that we want. However, nobody can figure out a way out of that pesky GoR so we will stay at 16 until at least 2036.
He is only about the money. He’ll go wherever they pay him the most.
0. Orgeron was a much better coach than you guys give him credit for, and Kelly will be exposed by superior coaching most weeks.
He'll need to do better than 3-4 in first 7 games...
ND winning title this year, Kelly gets fired in week 4 next year after losting to fl st, southern, ms state and new mexico.

No argument here. But Sarkisian might just be the guy to get them competitive, too.
I just rewatched The Pacific on HBO Max. If you're never seen it or are unfamiliar with WW2 in the Pacific, it's a real eye opener.

Don't forget that they're 2-7 vs tcu in the big 12, maybe tcu is their biggest rival now.

Whenever we go on a decent run, the rivalry actually gets a little intensity to it. The mid 90s through 2003, 2008-2009, and the Hugh Freeze era saw some pretty good times. I feel like Kiffin can get us back to that competitiveness

Kiffin and the Pirate are great coaches, I think that they could do some great things at ole miss/ms state. Hopefully they're doing those things to LSU instead of us, however.

Winner
OU/tu - avg academic ranking 88, which is above average for SEC. 1 additional aau school. Oh and our Athletics pie just got a LOT bigger. It’s a win in every way, other than dealing with all the ‘sip fans.

Texas has produced 13 NFL DBs in the last 10 years. 6 of them being picked within 3 rounds. Many still on NFL rosters. More than 4 occupy starting roles. LSUs numbers are even more flashy.

All that and $225m a year and you're still 2-7 against TCU.
Just try to get by Kstate this year so that you don't make the new conference look bad for letting you in.

No way this is a real OU fan lol. Totally a troll. I'm getting great laughs though reading through this lol.

This stinks of Longhorns posing LOL

Well, they did just get you to carry them into the SEC...
