Who does everyone lose after this year?

Like many Vols fans, I'm optimistic about the 2012 season given our young talent and the number of starters returning next year. However, I realize that Tennessee certainly isn't the only team in the conference with young talent. I know Tennessee won't lose much after this year, but I don't know nearly as much about other teams in the conference.

So just out of curiosity, I'm starting this thread so fans of whichever team can post/view who they/others will be losing after this season.

Thanks for the info

Joe Adams/Childs/JWright/Jericho Nelson/Jerry Franklin off the top of my head.

We will replace with new 5.7's and carry on

Another 4-5 first round NFL draft picks, and several other key contributors. Only about 12 returning starters in 2012.

Alabama loses Trent and it's defense. Like basically all of it, starters anyway.

Do you really think Trent is gone after this year?

I am of the opinion that unless it is a crazy good year, he stays

Alabama lost Glen Coffee early after a 1,300 yard season. So, yeah, I think Richardson is gone if he has a 1,000 yard season. Which he should.

I don't know why he would stay, he seems to be a consensus top 5 RB in the country. He's a big, physical, fast guy the NFL loves. And maybe I'm a homer, but with the offense revolving around him I'm expecting a big year for him.

Which Juniors you think are for sure gone?

Richardson, Hightower, Kirpatrick?

Those are the only ones "for sure" in my opinion. Obviously nothing is a given, but unless they get injured or something they're likely gone. Barret Jones and Robert Lester are other possibilities, but certainly a toss-up.

LSU loses Jefferson and Lee, a TE, and at least two OL
On defense, 2 LB, a DE, a FS, and most likely a CB

Btw 12-14 returning starters

I expect a drop off in 2012.

Garcia gone.
Jeffery and Gilmore could leave early for the NFL

skimming the roster we will lose around 10-11 current starters who are now SRs (Garcia included)

With that said I think the FS and SO + current commits we have can make a hell of a team in the future but with trips to UF, LSU, and Clemson + some tough home games it could be a rough(er) season.

But we will still have Lattimore and an experienced Clowney so it won't be all bad, but if we live up to the optimism of our current team in 2011.. 2012 could see a multiple win drop off.

Again, thanks for the information.

I must admit seeing the projected losses for some of these teams makes me feel better about Tennessee in 2012.

Vols lose Tauren Poole, Ben Martin, Malik Jackson, and Austin Johnson off the top of my head. I think we could potentially lose Justin Hunter if he actually does want to try the Olympics, but I'm not sure about that.
