Question for Auburn fans

Do you like it that your team failed to prep for new Mexico state in favor of prepping for Bama? Would you rather have won the new Mexico game and lose the bama game by 20, or lose the new Mexico game and still lose to Bama like what happened?

Freezus may have said all the right things in public, but it's pretty clear they spent the last few weeks doing Bama prep. Lost them an all-time embarrassment to NMSU and a heartbreaker to Bama anyway.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.

A 6-6 Auburn team only beat themselves
Maybe Bama should have looked past their rent a win as well.

I have zero interaction with the coaching staff and their decisions. Hunter has been injured all year, so we have to save him. NMst is a good team. Bama is below average. Your D and QB aren't very good compared to UGA. We had to conserve out lack of depth vs NMSt for Bama. It's what you do when you have a depleted roster.

I'm not saying Bama is worse tham NMst, but Bama is not on the level with UGA. You are blind if you think so. Milroe is average at best. A good team will have the athletes to contain him. UGA will beat the hell out of Bama next week.

Tell me you didn't watch the New Mexico game without telling me you didn't watch it.
Auburn came out with zero energy at all whatsoever against them. Prep didn't seem to be the problem against them, effort was. Now that does hurt my feelings.

If that play had been against Kirby Smart Jalen Milroe would've been buried. Auburn decided to put Jalen in a rocking chair, give him a pipe, fetch his slippers and let him take a nap before throwing the easiest game winner.

Yeah, Kirby has no history of giving up long TD passes in seemingly impossible situations.

New Mexico State is a better team than Alabama.

Meh, this first season was never going to mean a whole lot to his overall tenure at Auburn. Most rational fans had Auburn at 6-6 or 7-5 with a miracle season being 8-4 or 9-3.
With that said, the NMSU loss is way more embarrassing than last night's loss. Should never happen at Auburn and hadn't happened since '91. That doesn't mean last night wasn't a gut wrenching loss, because it definitely was. But to take the emotion out and view the big picture, this is the first time in a long time that the program, as a whole, is trending in the right direction. Because it had been in a nose dive for a while. Freeze proved that he could at least put a plan together to not get blown out by our two main rivals (who also happen to be two of the best programs in the country at the moment). Something Gus couldn't do, especially against UGA. With what he's been able to do on the recruiting trail, Auburn should be in a good spot in another couple seasons.

Bama is closer to UGA than the barn is to NMSU.
How you like them apples?

That's right. Barn gets to lose to IowaSt in the Liberty Bowl.
