“I don’t know how that’s not targeting and if it’s not, I think you’ve got a problem…” @Lane_Kiffin on the Dallas Turner hit that took LSU QB Jayden Daniels out of the game
Kiffin goes on to say it’s an issue that defensive players watching see that they can take the other teams QB out and stay in the game

Lane was a Tigah fan on Sat....what did you expect him to say ?

An offensive coach. A former QB. Surprised I tell you. And surely Kiffin wouldn’t stir the pot.

It is forcible contact to the neck or head of a defenseless player. Yes the facemask hit his chest, but the top of his helmet hit JD's head. It is 100% a targeting.

And every fanbase outside of Tuscaloosa agrees with him

I mean you honestly have to be half retarded to act like it shouldn't have been called. Not sure why it is hard for yall to admit. It doesn't change anything but the bama fans are thermonuclear melting over anyone calling out the truth about it.

And plenty of media and former officials don’t.

Lane might be a douche, but he knows Bama is dirty.

It was a targeting by today standards, pretty simple determination really. It just wasn't called so on to the next game. It is really unfortunate for Daniels, really enjoy watching him play. What a stud.

The fact that is wasn’t even reviewed is what is crazy to me
Posted on 11/7/23 at 10:42 am to tigerskin
Anybody acting like Turner shouldn’t have been ejected just doesn’t like LSU and that’s fine. Most people would agree that he should’ve been ejected.

Because it wasn’t. It was roughing. And properly flagged. Get over it. But I’m sure you’ll cry about it for years to come. Just about every loss in your 5-13 record versus Saban has some play you still cry about.

He’s not wrong. The fact we didn’t even get a review/explanation on it is a problem. Given today’s rules, it at least deserved that.

It was reviewed during the injury timeout. That’s been verified by Brian Kelly. He asked for it to be.

By apparently guys who do not know the rules.

Yes the facemask hit his chest,
So we have a NEW definition of targeting I see. So now if a player hits another player in the chest and the natural reaction of the player causes his chin to hit the top of players helmet it is now targeting. Someone please notify the NCAA and SEC officials of this. I didn't recall seeing it in the rule book described that way.

You look a lot more pathetic than you think. Your entire fanbase does on this.
"It's not us, it's everyone else that got it wrong"
The rest of the college football community: "Ok, bud"
