Just go ahead and start trying to find a real coach. If he can’t make us even competitive with 20 seniors from a 9-4 team then he damn sure won’t build a program. We will be absolutely awful next year and he will end up fired anyways

Totally has neutered Rodgers. First and most major mistake was not hiring someone running Pirate’s offense or at least a form of it.

It’s very obvious what you are saying is true.
For State’s own sake, Ole Miss needs to finish with a really strong season because that would likely give the fuel you need to force an action like that. You’re screwed if you keep him another year.

I agree. He seems in over his head. Bad situation how he stepped in, but now y’all have time to evaluate and make a good choice.

The Pirate’s offense wasn’t rocket science. He ran 70 drag routes per game and threw it underneath soft college zone defenses. That’s why he could make a Divsion III QB like Will Rogers look good.
They’re running a conventional offense now with a QB who can’t throw it more than 10 yards.

Yep. Every time they showed him on the sidelines, his mic was behind his head. Never saw him engaging with the players or communicating with his staff.

He's a complete moron. I can't comprehend how he could have possibly thought it was a good move to take a team built to be a Mike Leach HUNH spread offense and convert it to a power run offense. He pretty much ended y'all's season before it even started doing that idiotic crap.

Yeah I agree. It has to happen. There is no rebuild for a 9 win team last year.
Defense is pathetic, offense got rehauled because Arnett wanted to disrespect the legacy of Leach.
