Why is anyone surprised? He was the van wilder of college football. They need to make a new van wilder movie with wilder as a QB. Some people take a while to grow up

His grandpa passed away. They were extremely close. And two days after that his dog died. Just taking some time away from football.

I wouldn't doubt if he was still depressed about his teammate and the staff member who were killed in the car accident.
After all, if Georgia hadn't won the National Championship last year both of them would still be alive.

His pastor from back home was seriously injured in a car crash too. He's dealing with a lot right now.
