You can stop complaining about UGA's "easy" '23 schedule...predicted '24 will be TOUGH

Writer Connor Riley of the AJC DawgNation predicts the following schedule for UGA after it was announced that an 8-game conference schedule will be used next year in 2024:
Already scheduled non-conference games:
-- Clemson, Tennessee Tech, UMass, Georgia Tech
Predicted games in '24 in addition to above:
-- Florida -- In Jacksonville, Fla.
-- Auburn -- Athens, Ga.
-- LSU -- Athens, Ga.
-- Vanderbilt -- Athens, Ga.
-- Texas A&M -- College Station, Texas
-- Oklahoma -- Norman, Okla.
-- Kentucky -- Lexington, Ky.
-- Missouri -- Columbia, Mo.
LINK
The Dawgs will FINALLY get to visit College Station if this holds true...plus, playing Clemson, Florida, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma in the same year would be awesome --- but, very, very tough, too. Wow.

Below is our best guess
We aren't going to play clemson, UF, AU, LSU, ATM, and OU in the same year.

playing Clemson, Florida, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma in the same year would be awesom
it would be utterly stupid. This isn't a video game, it's real life. All a schedule like that does it exponentially increase the chances of you losing a game. The point is to win as many as you can, so a schedule like this is pretty counterintuitive for that.

My guess is
Clemson
Florida
Auburn
SC
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
Vandy
Kentucky
Arkansas
I think A&M and OU are pretty likely. The SEC wants to make sure we finally play at CS and get our game vs OU back

So you avoid Bama & Tenner, potentially 2 of the 4 top teams. And you still have Vandy & Mizzou. Cool. Looks like a fairly normal SEC schedule. I think it just looks tough because you're used to having it easy.

Obvious alter posting an AJC article. Try to be less obvious on your next account.

We had home and homes with Oklahoma and Texas which got scrapped.
I don't recall what years those games were (other than p1 of Oklahoma was 2023).

Georgia certainly had that in mind when they scheduled the teams they are playing this year!
You say GA shouldn't play UF, AU, LSU, A&M and OU in the same year?
Bama plays AU, LSU, A&M every year and add Texas that we played last year and this year. Quit your whining because you are finally going to play a schedule worth a dime.

2021 still stinging, huh?

ETA I see, since you brought last season up where you conveniently forgot to mention we played Oregon.

We had a bad year no doubt.
Too bad you can't defend your schedule this year!
Maybe after playing your cupcake schedule this year, you will get a taste of what "real" college football team schedule looks like in 2024.

Just because Georgia has one easier year because of a schedule conflict.

You are always so salty. We had Oklahoma on the schedule and the SEC canceled it.

Not exactly murderer’s row every year

lol you added Clemson. Thats our every year, plus the addition of a team like NC State, UNC, ECU etc.

To be fair, it's not UGA's fault that GT were babies and left the SEC.

Looks like a very manageable schedule to me. UGA AD must have dirty pics on Sankey!

Didn't you forget about the lowly Mizzou?

Hell, we have to play USC and UCLA in 24.
