Vegas, Atlantic City, Monte Carlo ... no.
Ohio, though, was all over it.
Didn't even know they gambled in Ohio.

It’s pretty simple. Nobody bets on Bama baseball in Ohio except Alabamas dumbass coach and associate

Probably because it was the only bet on that game and it was a lot of money and the timing was too perfect.

The bet or one of the suspicious bets was put in at the MGM Sportsbook located in Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati (OH) Reds.

It would be pretty easy if they were already looking out for it or if there is some money amount that if net a guy actually looks at more in depth.

Who the freak down voted me?
That is the factual story.

Little ironic with Pete Rose coaching and playing for the Reds when he had his gambling scandal.

ESPN's David Purdum reported that surveillance video indicated that a person who placed bets on Alabama's April 28 game against LSU at the BetMGM Sportsbook was communicating with Bohannon. ESPN said the Ohio Casino Control Commission's investigation is centered on two bets for the Tide to lose, which they did.

$100K bet on a college baseball game will raise red flags in any sports book on the planet. That moron just happened to do it in Ohio.

Have a buddy in the business. Said they were not monitoring the game because there was literally no action on it. Then two large bets came in right before the game. Was immediately flagged.

Because the gambling occurred in Ohio?

It was between 15k to 20k. More closer to 15k. I heard the clip from ESPN reporter that broke it this morning.
It still raised alarm bells because no one bets on college baseball, especially that amount. For example, FanDuel had zero bets on the Alabama vs LSU game. Also most of the betting is done when it is the College World Series and not the regular season.
And the reason OHIO broke the story is because the bet was in OHIO. It wasn't Ohio that caught it. It was an independent watchdog in Las Vegas. They then notified the Ohio gambling commission because they have no authority.
