Lack of respect for the SEC

2nd place team gets a 7 seed, a team goes 11-7 in the sec, is hot, and gets snubbed. Meanwhile, middling teams from the bigten and big12 finish average in their league and get 3-6 seeds.

The SEC is a shitty basketball league. That’s not really debatable.

because the SEC sucks. your best team got absolutely murdered by the big 12's last place time.
and you lost to wofford man, come on.

Lots of respect for the sex, tie for most teams in. Lots of weight in ooc and net.
The committee was very generous in seeding of all sec teams.

It’s circular logic. They want to punish us for losing to a “weak” OOC but beating a poor conference schedule. Yet, reward teams for winning in November, but getting their arse whooped in a “poor” conference schedule. Can’t win. It’s about match ups and money lol espn wanted A&M/tu

The SEC hasn’t been great in the tourney the last 10 years though that prob shouldn’t matter. The ACC, Big 12, and Nova have kind of run the thing for the last decade.

We got the top overall seed.

Agreed 100%. A&M in particular got absolutely screwed.

And also beat #1 seeds Alabama and Kansas. Losing at Tennessee isn't the same as losing to Wofford at home. Like why would you even bring that up

Ok, Alabama got curb stomped by the worst team in the Big 12. Doesn't mean shite

I feel pretty respected

They like the big non con wins clearly with Tennessee getting a 4 seed and Vandy not making it.

This.
The committee wanted Texas vs A%M. Seeding means less to them than matchups.

It’s a lack of respect for aTm, not the SEC

SEC basketball still has a little ways to go. Football, baseball? Yes. We're dominant. Basketball? It'll be a few

We got 8 teams in the dance, tied for most conference teams and a 1 seed. Looks like we did pretty damn good.

????
Most SEC schools have been to a Final Four
Old Big East was solid, top to bottom
SEC was historically solid in the NCAA era
ACC was top heavy
B1G was top heavy (can't remember if Northwestern has been to an NCAA tourney)
PAC was top heavy (UCLA and maybe two floaters)
Popular
