Former A&M HC Kevin Sumlin to Maryland as Co-OC. I wish Sumlin well and hope he refinds his magic.

I think he'll make a good OC. I actually felt at one point in his tenure that Sumlin was building something legitimate at A&M with how Johnny was playing and how he was recruiting at the time. Crashed down pretty fast.

Tejas ran him off and got a worse white due to lose more and spent tens of millions more in salaries and NIL to boot.

He hitched his wagon to Noel Mazzone and that ended him. I don’t understand why he was so loyal to that guy.

Seems unfair to blame Sumlin for being fired by A&M. He did a better job than Jimbo has done.
