We are at Pat Dye Field sponsored by Yella Wood inside Jordan-Hare stadium sponsored by Apple to watch the Auburn tigers wearing Nike vs Texas A&M Aggies wearing adidas. And so on and so forth.

Is Sweeney showing up for AE to release the front cage of the Eagle flight? Might have some strong assets for it to be possible

Only if Sydney Sweeney makes a personal appearance to feed the eagle at midfield.

Rane is definitely willing. I know his family is strong supporters as well but not sure their passion is the same as Jimmy’s.

The bottom line is that it’s gonna take a shite load of money to support a “championship” type roster year in and year out. General fan donations aren’t going to cut it. Like I mentioned earlier and it’s the rate now we are going to need $15-$20m per year to supplement the other 20.5m paid by the university to be competitive. I don’t see that number going down. Only going up. So big donors is where it’s at. Sad but true

For those who didn't read Hokanson's article, a couple of tidbits.

Rayne insisted that the Yellawood logo be smaller than the Pat Dye Field wording because of his respect for Coach Dye.

Estimates are that the deal is paying Auburn about $4 million a year. That revenue goes directly to the NIL fund for the four players involved in the announcement.

By carving out that $4 million each year for NIL, that is $4 million that stays in the revenue sharing bank for other players.

Not the end of the world.. he’s giving us and players millions to spray paint a logo on the field that can be mowed over and back to grass again at anytime…

It’s not renaming rights like our basketball arena.

And to think they were too cheap to pay Cam Ward $1 million last year.
