Hard to disagree with any of that.

Not really. Pretty easy to figure out.

We looked dysfunctional on offense. Playcalling was suspect as usual. Nix made showed he is a freshman. Yet despite all the miscues, our defense kept us alive.

It's not just you, not at all. Yea you look and say we lost by 3 to the #1 team on the road, that's not bad at all. But you watch the game and the offense, it doesn't even look like football. I watch many games every week and even bad offenses can string together a series of normal looking plays every now and then. Look at all of our scores against UF and LSU, all set up by defense and special teams. Otherwise we wouldn't even be sniffing the endzone.

When D.J. stepped out at the 9 is there anyone here who thought we even had a chance of scoring? I know I didn't. It's not supposed to be that way where you are disappointed after a 70 yard run.

I was honestly hoping we'd run the Wildcat with Boobie three plays in a row. We actually had pretty good success with that. But, yeah, I posted this exact same thing in the game thread when it happened. Such a bummer.

Pretty much sums up the Malzahn era.

Nope...first thought was there goes 4 points. I was hoping we didn't give the 3 lints away.

I'm getting old, but wasn't the sequence. Bo and DJ...then waste a TO and use Joey but then run Bo right back out there? If my memory is right what crap plan. Leave Joey in and have a package that you trust to score the damn TD.

this has been it for at least the last 3 years, probably 4.

before the season starts you have expectations. when the games are being played, they aren't expectations anymore, they are observations.

with a semi competent offense/coach we are 8-0.

Bump for Groundhog Day with Sweater Vest Shula. We can bump these threads every single year until Gus is gone, it’s infuriating. Frick Jay Jacobs and his 49 million dollar contract.

I will admit I was sort of reading this as if it was written yesterday aside from Bo being mentioned as a Frosh.

Same here. Except now Gus is hiding behind not just Nix, but Morris. And they both suck

Gus either has no ability to prepare a QB to play at this level or his offense is so bad that opposing D's can stop it without much effort.
