Would Auburn rush the field if they won against #1?

Last 2 #1 teams that came to Auburn were 2001 Florida and 2013 Alabama. We rushed the field for both.

Side note: Last team to come into JHS as #1 and win was 1982 UGA.

Do we win on a game winning play? If so, then probably.

If not, then probably not.

No.

Game means nothing if we don't beat Bama. '13 sent us to ATL a year after 49-0/3-9 on the heels of the greatest CFB finish of all time

not unless its a Prayer in Jordan hare type ending. A regular win probably not. But I will be drunk as frick afterwards if we win. Probably also if we lose... so I dont have to remember it.

Same.

You can stand on your head and fart Dixie as far as I care, as long as we win.

Personally? Absolutely.

But it's a rivalry game we should expect to win (at least) half the time. From a program perspective, that doesn't warrant a field-storming, regardless of their record and ranking to this point in the season

If we are unranked sure. We are top ten though. Just another game.

If we beat UGA, no. If we beat Alabama afterwards, yes.

We rushed the field against Florida?

My friend & I were watching the game at his place, and suddenly a power surge at halftime blacked us out, so instead of waiting, we hustled to this sleepy sports bar a few blocks away. Right when we sat down, he said "If Auburn pulls this off, I'll break dance right here in the middle of this bar". Keep in mind, we were 10 years past our graduation dates, so I never thought he'd have it in him. Anyway, a few pitchers later, I reminded him about what he said...and sure enough, when the clock struck 0:00, he did the most awful but fricking hilarious break dance imaginable, and even the Gator fans cheered him on, lol....

Anyway, my point in posting this is that I had no idea the fans stormed the field, because I was too ecstatic celebrating with my fellow smashed buddy

No, let's act like the 10th ranked team. 2001 was different because we were huge underdogs against Florida and we won in dramatic fashion.

ETA: and we still have a shite ton of work left to do. UGA is step one.
