I don't remember it being this bad. Months of talk about what kind of seasons players WILL have....All Speculation.

Numerous stories about athletes that are underpaid.

Numerous segments on point spreads and prop bets.

Now numerous articles and segments about possible trades. People that sit on TV and tell us who should be on the trading block and who a certain team should give up.

I never watch sports media on TV. During football season I will sometimes listen to the local sports radio show.

What else are they supposed to talk about? Most of them want some drama or controversy because that’s when everyone tunes in.

If that slob Pat Mcafee is the best ESPN has to appease whitey then they’re fricked. He ain’t worth all that money.

They fired the sportscenter dude I’ve known for 20 years just to bring in some uninteresting boob jobs across the landscape.

If you haven’t turned off YouTubeTV until the season starts then you’re doing things wrAUng.

Once the sports media became TMZ, it was over. It mostly started in the Cam Newton days and went downhill from there.

They are focused on the hits and negative shite more than reporting the news now.

I was such a fan of sports center and other outlets. It’s amazing how little I watch it now. If ESPN was taken off my TV, I would not even know it other than games.

Haven't had it in years but still watch the games...same with all the news services..the whole disney abc espn connection really took espn downhill in my opinion...

I watch auburn basketball, I watch auburn football, I was some of auburn baseball. I’ll catch a random other college game here or there. I watch the UFC. That’s about it as far as sports is concerned and I certainly don’t want to listen to the national media on sports or the news. Complete garbage and impossible to watch.

Yes considering the SEC granted the War Rapport a media credential for media days which ensued Mike G asking dumb outdated questions.

It's so bad that I've completely stopped watching anything except for the game.

You got that right, Chili King!!

I’ll watch the games on TV, turn down the volume, and listen to Stan & Andy call the game live on the Auburn Network App.

BTW?…I can’t immediately recall…but who is replacing Stan White on the Auburn Network Broadcast this season?

That’s fantastic!

He’s done a really good job good as a sideline reporter/analyst (and so has Ronnie Brown).

It’s really fitting that Stan hands the mic over to Jason. One Auburn legend to another.

REALLY looking forward to Andy & Jason for “the call” this fall!!

I'll miss Stan, but Jason is a good replacement. His commentaries have been great. We are in good shape with Andy, Jason and Ronnie.

As for the sports media, I change the channel when the sports idiots start talking, especially when it is the the prick with big ears. I'll listen to Takeo and if I happen to catch Barkley, Shaq, Earnie Jr., and Kenny, I will listen to them because they are funny. That's it.
