"Hate" might be too strong of a word, how about despise? I grew up in the 70's, and Auburn getting their arse kicked 9 years in a row made me a little bitter. Add to that their sidewalk fans, the whole "cow college" bullshite, claiming 577 National championships and their general asshattedness and I really have no use for them. frick Bama, I hope they lose every game, in every sport that they participate in honestly.

ETA.....Now does that mean I despise all Bama fans? No. Just the shitty ones. I know we have fans that can be assholes, they just have way more.

This is it for me. If they didn't have such a state-wide network of people complicit in cheating for them, then I believe we'd beat them most years. They are dirty as a crackwhore's butthole. I hate those motherfrickers because of it.

What everyone else said -- arrogance, Updykes, the cheating, the ref bias (although this can be debated).

What really gets me are the claimed national titles and how everyone just goes along with it.

I also can't stand when Bama is down. It's always, "how many national titles do you have?" They are one of the worst fanbases to live in the past. They don't have that problem now because of Saban, but you better believe the next time they're down, it will be "Saban was the greatest coach of all time..."

Nice summation. Hope they never win another game in anything they play.

I don't like bama fans. They're coarse and rough and irritating, and they get everywhere.

Much of their fanbase in this state consists of obnoxious trash that only like football and don't watch any other games except for Bama, because everyone else is doing it. Then they like to talk about the rivalry like they're real fans. Can't see anybody wearing Auburn gear without saying something retarded. They brainwash their kids, most of who don't give a crap about sports. Makes growing up around them insufferable. An endless cycle of annoying trash, and I don't like them.

This. I respect their team. The body of work is unmatched, and Bama generally plays clean hard well coached football.

What I hate is their fricking fans. The actual graduates I can even tolerate, but frick their sidewalk trash. Im talking the ones at the chicken plant, at walmart, at wendys drive up, my yard man, etc. And their little redneck gump minions.

Still I hate UGA worse. FAAAR FAAAAAAR WORSE. They are just as big a douche bags with none of the hardware.

This entire thread should be renamed -

"Why do you hate Bama fans?"

My first qualifier question to any Bama fan is, "what year did you graduate from Tuscaloosa?" 95% of the time, they either graduated from somewhere else or no where at all. I don't pay attention to anything they have to say after that. All they have is football and that's it. 95% couldn't tell you a player on one of their other teams or name a building on campus besides the football stadium.

1. Their sense of permanent entitlement.

2. The fact that, up until the 1960's, they continued to try to shut Auburn down.

3. The fact that pretty much always Auburn has been the better school, but for the better part of our histories Bama has been better and more dependably funded by the state.

4. The fact that they thought that they should always and forever have permanent homefield advantage for the Iron Bowl and couldn't even be honest about their reasons. And this is why, to me, Pat Dye is a god.

5. Because frick them, that's why.
