They ran 80 plays and didn’t get 400 yards of offense. They barely climbed into the 20’s scoring on 4 turnovers.

The defense needs to improve in some areas but they have played good enough for us to be undefeated

Yep. The made adjustments as the day went on. Just cant keep them out there all day.

Offense is clearly a bigger issue. There were some holes in the defense early but in the end, they held

Corch, do you think this Arky team is good? I don’t. We are gonna get beat down by any team with a respectable offense. Their QB sucks. He can’t throw. He only got plays with his feet because we are atrocious on defense.

Gonna be a long crappy year. We’re screwed with Freeze. You and others can if that and can fix that, but it won’t happen.

Same as all the other 6 to 8 win seasons since 2011

Shitty QB play

We lost because we turned the ball over more times than I can keep up with (was it 5 or 6?). On top of that, we had a bone head personal foul to extend a drive that led to a TD, and Kieonte Scott getting lost on 3rd and forever allowing a guy to get behind him. Without those two plays and Alston not fumbling inside the 5, this game is very different.

Nearly a carbon copy of the Cal disaster.

I am beginning to think the inexplicable are the result of Hugh being a coach that makes inexplicable inevitable

So Arkansas has more talent on their squad than Auburn? Because that’s what you’re saying here right?

It is definitive why.

Worse in year 2 of a program. Please show me where that has ever, ever been a sign of good things to come.

We saw this shite with Harsin. Folks identified him as a fraud in year one but the orange and blue homers couldn’t stand it and made excuses and called us stupid.

Wake up because it’s happening again.

Worse in year 2. How in the hell is this a good sign. Why are we excusing this absolute lying scumbag. Recruits players and immediately throws them under the bus even though he has no way to properly coach them up.

If you really love Auburn, you won’t support lying scumbags like Freeze.

We’ve been doing that for years. Still ridiculous though

I have a feeling he is who Cubelic was talking about. He just seems lost out there. Our DB play as a whole has not been good. I have never been impressed with Durkin but was hoping for good results. This three man line is causing me great suffering. Third and long............light the QB up. He sends three knowing we can't cover me. It's baffling.

Turnovers.

I’m not a coach so I have no idea how to fix it.

In general, if you can play clean- no turnovers and no stupid penalties- you can give yourself a chance IF you have some playmakers.

I keep hearing the "but Harsin left the cupboard bare" argument, and that may be true, but we would've won at least 6 of our last 7 if the coaches were capable of fielding at least a somewhat competently prepared team. And if all things were equal up to and including 4th and 31, we would've won that game too, going a perfect 7-0. If Hugh can't correct getting everyone's heads on straight, things aren't gonna get much better with a full cupboard either...

Ofc you are. If you, Freeze, and a loaded gun are in a room alone together, only one person and an empty gun are leaving the room. You've made that clear. You can't take Larry the cable guy to the Olympics and expect him to come home with a medal. Coaching can only go so far.
