Boobee has surgery today. Out 4-6 weeks. Ugh. Guess we might see more RBs now.

Breaking: RB JaTarvious Whitlow out at least 1 month

quote:

AUBURN, Alabama — Auburn running back JaTarvious Whitlow will miss at least one month of the season after undergoing a surgical procedure on his knee Tuesday.
He will miss four to six weeks, Malzahn said.

Whitlow is Auburn's starting running back and leads the team in rushing.

"Obviously he’s an impact player on offense," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. "The good thing for that is we do have a deep group at running back."

We have six first string RB, so we should be good. Gus’ recruiting strikes again.

If DJ Williams doesn’t get the nod as the primary back now I’ll be upset

He was on his way to 1000 rushing yards. Could be two years in a row now.

The bright side is it forces Gus’s hand on getting others involved.

I’m glad Gus could get him some reps earlier in the season

Interesting phrasing or nah?

You would be correct if we are talking old and Florida Gus.

This sucks. Unfortunately I think Gus reverts to straight-line Kam for 20+ carries.
