His defenses made some really stupid penalties this year, penalties that could have been the difference in several games. Before Bama's go ahead TD on 4th down, we had all three time outs. He should have called one when their offense stayed on the field, and got our defense set.
If he wants to stay and feels like he can play nice with the other children, and the new HC is all in, I am not against it, but I'm not convinced he will be an elite SEC DC.

He is super young. He graduated from UCF in 2018/2019. He started 28 games at OL for them and was on the 2017 team that beat us in the Peach Bowl.

Demarcus Van Dyke played at Miami and ran a 4.28 at the Combine. Dude is probably still faster than most of our DB's LOL. He was actually coached by Wesley McGriff at Miami.

Hoke’s update tonight didn’t have a lot of major nuggets
But did say Golesh met with Durkin earlier AND will meet with him again tonight
Thinks McGriff may move to an off-field role. Doesn’t think Marcus Davis has met with Golesh yet. Golesh plans to meet with current staff tomorrow morning

Agreed I expect Crime to move to an off field role.
I expect Durkin to remain as DC
