It honestly is a credit to Durkin and our defensive players that they haven't just up and quit at this point.
Agreed & seeing how they are practicing now...I think we will see a much better team on Saturday
Edited for more context.
Ohio St - Played #1 Tx & #17 IL
Indiana - Played #9 & #3 Ducks
AU - Played #11 OK, #9 TA&M, #10 UGA, #16 Mizzu & about to play #16 Vandy.
So yeah we would be in contention...no doubt about it...considering how close we were in all of those games...

I have read the hype but am just not feeling it.

I can't get excited about him either. I want Brohm, the Dilly, then he would be wayyyyyyyy back. I also can't handle more of the HC is calling the plays, the HC is not calling the plays, wait he is calling them again nonsense if we get an offensive minded HC

Jeff Brohm calls the plays for Louisville

The end of the BYU game last year was a teaching moment for Coach Dillingham- I hope.

I don’t care if the head coach is calling the plays if he’s competent at it, and can juggle that with all other aspects of managing a program. Brohm has a proven track record of being able to do that at a Power 4 level.
The problem is when the coach who is calling the plays refuses to evolve, and is too stubborn to admit when the game has passed him by, or when he isn’t even present for all the meetings during the week and is calling plays on Saturday, or thinks that the plays he’s calling on Saturdays are the key to success over player development, fundamentals, discipline, and attention to detail.
I do get why we are gun-shy about going after someone else who calls his own plays. But I don’t think that’s an automatic show-stopper, and would hate to see us not hire who might be the best choice for that sole reason.

I am ok with it as long as it is clear who is, and not as predictable as it has been

Dillingham lost to Moo State this year.
Got pummeled by Utah and only beat Baylor by 3.

Dude is off a playoff run and battling probation from Herm. Im no Dilly guy, but to say he sucks is ridiculous. The guy is working miracles.

Who said he sucks? I just posted facts.
You want to explain losing to Moo State this year?

Coach Potatoe had no ties to the SEC/recrutinrg in the South East, and that was a big hit against him. Tell me why I should be excited about Brohm?

I started to familiarize myself with the PAC 12 rosters but moved on when Harsin arrived. Been watching the Delta State Fighting Okra this season

Brohm constantly pulls recruits from Florida, so way different than potato.

Who is your candidate who has no inexplicable or embarrassing losses on his resume?

Brohm or Sumrall would be fine with me.
Sumrall IF successful could be here 25 years.
