I'll believe Sumrall is our next HC until i see something from someone that's actually credible that says otherwise.

So when someone told me I am being dense for not accepting Sumrall was a done deal, they were the dense one? Interesting.
I can't see Drink at Auburn. Would Brohm or Dilly still be in play? I would prefer Sumrall over Durkin, but that's about it. Really hope Cohen isn't dumb enough to hook his job up to the Durkin wagon. 2 lazy hires in a matter of months would spell doom

Who would you rather? Durkin or Lea
Damn!
I guess Lea. At least then I know we are trying to make a quality hire.

I would rather have Lea over Drinkwitz.

Me too I think. Drink feels like another Gus / Freeze

I would rather just keep durkin over either of those.

Durkin's D has not been near as sharp as interim HC.
To date our passing offense ranks 91st in the country. He has been good overall but pump the brakes as permanent HC

I blame the fact he had to be HC as well
Posted on 11/26/25 at 10:45 pm to HailToTheChiz
Right. So it's preferable to just keep him as DC.
Posted on 11/26/25 at 10:47 pm to jangalang
Yeah, as long as the new guy is wanting that

For those that haven't seen what Sumrall is like in an interview

Could also be we had zero offense and no one really had to take chances vs our D.

This is the correct answer

Yeah, rather than Lea or Durkin just go after someone like Chesney or Golesh. Or Eric Morris for that matter.

Correct. Don’t tell Crotch Jay. He’ll downvote you Meanwhile basketball taking a major dive was not what we needed but here we are as well.
What was that you were saying? Oh shite we lost to the number 1 team in the country early in the season and then got beat by a team that is blowing everyone out. The horror.
I’m not the downvote/upvote kind of guy. So run back to your bammer buds to console you.

He's definitely got the coach speak down. He formed a complete sentence out of at least three separate coaching cliches answering a question at the beginning
