It means Georgia would have to play some SECW teams it normally avoids and would have a legit strength of schedule.

Agreed. 9 SEC games would be much better for the fans too. We can actually get to see AU play UF and UT again on a somewhat regular basis. The P5 OOC will likely be solved by scheduling mid level teams like Cal, Iowa, Texas Tech, etc.

Could not possibly be more against a 9 game schedule. You would then have uneven years in terms of home and away.

For instance, Auburn could have bama and Georgia at home along with 3 other games. It would be a fairly easy schedule and one likely to result in a trip to Atlanta. Well the next year we would have those games on the road and very little chance of making it.

It needs to stay an even number.

All about it. Sucks seeing an east team, what every 8-10 years at home?

I like playing good teams outside our conference. They make for a more interesting game. Fun.

I could not agree more. I would like to keep it at 8 and just play a quality OOC game every year. Other conferences would love to see the SEC go to a 9 game schedule. Our schedule is tough enough already. I don't want to add a good UF/SC to our already ridiculous schedule.

Yep - Better still thank Texas A&M and Missouri for the trail run and show them the door. For me it'd be far better to have historic rivals than a mega conference, so I'd rather see that game (aTm or MsU) replaced with another team from the east. Most players don't even get to play the full gambit of teams any longer, much less the chance to play on an opponent's field. Yeah the SEC's great but why ... it tain't because Alabama is top of the heap today?

It will never happen IMO.

I think it will. The SEC and ACC are the only two not doing it, I beleive.

I'm all for it! Let's just go back to Pre-1992 SEC teams. Punt the late comers out (USCe, arKansas, aTm, Mizzou).
