Yeah, I didn't understand that either. The SEC usually has 1 really good team, and 2-3 decent teams. In no way, shape, or form is the SEC a power conference. That'd be like calling the Pac-10 a football power conference. But alas, he thinks we could do "better" than my suggestion, yet didn't offer how/who. Par for the course.

Established? You think that huh? AU is at the bottom of the SEC. Nothing changes with a high risk, high rewards hire. If he flames out, oh well, AU is still at the bottom. But I'd counter and say White fits better at AU than Barbee in multiple ways. SEC ties, better resume, knows AU's recruiting area, and would demand a lower salary.
But continue with your Bruce Pearl type pipe-dream.

I still don't understand why people think Pearl to Auburn is possible. I guess they think that since Auburn is a well known commodity in football that will translate to basketball.

It's not that I think its possible, but I want to physically see him tell us no 
I just want to see us make a run at him, regardless of the possibility. It at least makes me know we're trying.
