He has worked with the best defensive minds in the country for 15 years and would be working with another very experienced defensive coach. It's not like he would be thrown to the wolves. Besides, who do you think we are going to end up with, prime Monte Kiffin?

McGriff Kelly is a better combo than UGA sec coaches. I just don’t want TRob to take Caleb Downs and Ricks.

Kelly ran FSU defense into the ground and was Co-DC during Alabama's defensive demise and Colorado last year, woof.

I’m strictly comparing the DB coaches. I don’t think either Kelly or TRob are really the DC at the end of the day

I think we all agree we don’t want Kelly calling the defense. The question is why tf do you want TRob calling it?

I'd take him over McGriff or Kelly individually, but yes I'd like him to be complimented with an experienced accomplished coordinator as well.

I disagree with all the TRob slander.
he is an excellent position coach, and an excellent recruiter. He is short on quality DC experience, but Kelly is too.
TRob is also an Auburn man, and that is icing on the cake. Am I missing something? Who is our DC??
