I would still take Jon Sumrall. What we are putting on the field is USF football. Freeze football, Boise State football.
Georgia and Alabama are still the elite of the SEC. You and I may not like that but that is the truth. The UGA vs UAT game tonight was a damn slug fest and a damn good game. No gimmicks, just football.

And they should always recruit top classes even when they get hired 3 days before early signing period and 2 months before NSD!!

Not by me.
Drinkwitz literally only gets scorned because he looks and comes off like a nerd, so general fans don't believe in him as a "football coach". In reality, his resume "flaws" are barely different from Kiffin (who everyone dick-rides nonstop as some all-time dream hire). The difference is that Kiffin is a jock, so apparently it doesn't matter when he loses the big game, or drops the yearly game he shouldn't lose.
The perceived knock on Drinkwitz is that he keeps losing to UGA, Bama, Texas, etc. Oh wow, so he beats most of the teams he faces, but loses to the Top 10 opponents that have twice the talent and resources of Missouri.
