Yeah, thanks for that post. I had been waiting to see something said about it, but haven't.

ETA none to soon. we had a positive test in the county over yesterday. With Spring Breakers piling in here, I am certain it has infested our boarders.

LINK

FDA says it’s not approved for treatment of COVID, FWIW. Though it sounds like Physicians can use it as needed. Guessing Trump said it was approved to speed up the process

Several countries are. WHO began clinical trials on 4 drugs, chloroquine being one of them.

Good idea to try anything as long as participants are informed. If it works it will get fast tracked regardless of FDA approval at this point

Yep. She’s about to come off of 24 hours on. She’ll be at home for 24 and back in. That’s if they don’t have a crazy spike. We’ve got a good snow storm right now which could complicate that. Things are busy and chaotic but they’re not overwhelmed yet.

We’re choosing not to isolate from eachother. We’re both young and healthy. No kids, and our families are in other states. She’s just work and back for the time being. I’m doing the errands

I hate to hear that. God bless her and her co-workers. Dr.'s/nurses are angels on earth. I will keep you two in my thoughts and prayers.

I wouldn't either. I heard it's hell trying to be intimate with hazmat gear on.

My wife is doing 12 on and 12 off at the hospital right now. She has done that before.

I have a feeling that things are about to go downhill. Everything shut down. Really sucks. I was out on the lake today and the Corps of Engineers were emptying the parks and blasting on the bull horn that they would be closed until further notice.

Gonna be nothing left soon.

Just an update from Eugene, OR. I work as an anesthesiologist and things are getting real. Have had a few deaths but nothing like more metropolitan areas like Seattle. Very sobering when we are making contingency plans on who gets care and who doesn’t if things get worse. Already high blood utilization surgeries like thoracic dissections will possibly not proceed because of the possibly need for blood. All electives surgeries have been cancelled and to compound things personal protective equipment ie masks and gowns are in very low supply.

Very surreal. Y’all be careful out there.

Only one with a positive test but others that have had radiologic and lab findings consistent with covid. Problem here like many other places is the lack of availability of testing and/or testing supplies.

It does. As far as families go, I am not seeing as many. I am seeing no decline in numbers with the college aged kids.

DeSantis ordered all bars to close for 30 days on Tuesday. They can't drink while laying out on the beach right now. Hopefully they all go home and the ones planning trips in the next few weeks just stay away.

Did Florida not shut down the beach?

Alabama closed all public and private beaches today. (Not sure how you close down a private beach but that’s what they said)
