I really think Sean could one of the better Auburn quarterbacks but I think that Malzahn doesn't know how to move the pieces in the SEC to get that out of him.
Meeting with a guy like Art Briles is a good second step. The first step was bringing in Herb Hand to help get back some of the passing acumen out of his offense he once had at Tulsa.

Sean White deserves better than his current situation. The kid has great accuracy and pocket awareness. His play is more of an indictment of where Gus is at right now. His play caling is boring and predictable and the only deep play we run takes forever to develop cause we have to fake three handoffs. Bottom line Sean would ball out in say A&Ms offense.
Nailed it.

it was actually six drops... and officially, it was five...
you're officially full of crap. I'm at 9:41 in the 2nd quarter watching the offensive plays and we're at 7 drops already. 2 were tough catches but both hit the WR in the hands therefore that shite is a drop.
You can't possibly have watched the same game if you believe there were 5 drops!

If we simply catch the fricking ball, we win that Arky game going away. It was like watching a baseball game and the poor kid at shortstop can't field grounder after grounder after grounder. Awful.

Yep. And White probably has 375 yards of passing! haha.
But no shite, all stats aside, if you just WATCH that video of White running the offense he REALLY does look like a pretty good QB that we can win a lot of games with.

That's not how drops work.

Dropping even ten 5-10 yard passes doesn't add up to 375 yards passing. That's on top of the near 60 yards Ricardo Louis gifted White on that 4th quarter drive due to Louis bailing White out

A pretty good QB that a non Malzahn team could win with. Absolutely

but Auburn's receivers suffered six drops, five of which were official.

This is my first time watching this game. I was in China when it was on. I can honestly say I would have thrown something through my tv due to the high number of drops in this shite show. White was on the money every time. Jesus.

What do you define as "on the money?" Clearly we have different definitions because I don't call consistently throwing high and behind WRs "on the money"
That is despite the WRs being wide open as Arkansas had the #117 pass defense in the country.

If it hits BOTH of your damn hands and you don't catch it....that shite is a drop. IMO, if you asked any NFL scout watching this exact tape I would bet you they'd say that those catches have to be made, period.

Jesus man. I can tell you didn't even watch the clip. Why are you even assuming ten 5-10 yard passes were dropped? Most were further out than that including 2 deep ones to Ricardo that absolutely should've been caught. Those 2 Louis drops alone were about 60 or more yards.

sean white could throw the worst fricking passes in the world and if the receiver somehow snakes his body, while trying to fight off a defender, in a way to get hands on it, you would blame the receiver every time.
the level of devotion to sean white is astounding. nothing is ever his fault.
quote:those two passes were dog shite. if white actually put the ball where it was supposed to be, they would've been caught. louis had 2 yards on on the db running a deep route and white under throws it by 5 yards so louis has to slow down and try to catch it with a db in his stomach. the fact that you aren't blaming that shitastic throw on white is absurd.

Offset by the two deep ones that absolutely were great catches.
If you count that early TSteve high and behind him as a drop, you are crazy. It looked catchable, but that is an incredibly difficult catch
