My guess is some would not want it know that they are looking around. Some it is just a timing issue.

Nobody is claiming to be an insider. I just know someone who is. I just want to burst the bubbles of those who are pushing that this is a dysfunctional search. It seems to be the mantra of so called Auburn Fans.

Entertaining thread ...honestly makes sense. Basically said the same thing in the other thread. We pulled the bandaid off early and have the catbird seat in the coaching carousel. Why wouldn’t we be able to line up a list of solid candidates and interviews?
We pay $2.5 million for assistants for gods sake...that’s double what most head coaches make! It’s an attractive job not a house on fire.
