What Malzahn accomplished in the SEC West is miles ahead of anything Gundy has done at Oklahoma State. He’s the ultimate tease and you can almost guarantee they choke in a big game. They were co champs of the conference back in maybe 2012? Other than that, he’s 2-14 against the Sooners. I don’t think he would get to 14 losses against Bama He’s not under the same pressure to win at OSU. They seem pretty content having cool uniforms and winning 8-9 games a season.

He’s also a hick that still wears a mullet...that by itself makes it a no go for me

The bigger issue is Auburn hiring and firing a guy worth several million dollars just to interview people.

Agreed, not to mention that the statement Gus made about 6-4 being a "solid season" was the final nail in the coffin for him. IMHO.

How would we feel about Freeze and Muschamp at DC?

No thanks to Freeze. He's the same as Malzahn. I think Muschamp needs to take a year or so out of football and see if he can figure out why things haven't worked out for him.

No, I think Freeze would be able to innovate with an offense and score plenty of points, but Auburn gets enough undeserved hate. Even before Pearl, but especially now. 'Herp derp, you're cheating dirtbags even though your rosters have been mostly filled with underrated good kids that tournament teams didn't want derrrrr.' If we hired Freeze, we'll not only deserve it, but we'd be forced to embrace it.

No way Muschamp would come back for a 3rd stint as DC.

I think it’s pretty clear that, like many others and Steele, he’s a great coordinator but not a head coach.

Yeah, reveal that list. Doesn’t hurt as we’ve been turned down by everyone.
