I think Hugh probably thought back to the Baylor game and how much not getting points fricked them. First drive into the red zone, get the points and let’s reset everything.

To me, looked like he caught and jumped out of bounds like he was trying to stop the clock. You may be right, it’s hard to tell with the camera angles.
