I think Opurum has to get more minutes just because we need more size.. Even if he's not ready, just being big will help. Freeman and Hall should be at the 2 and 3, its where they should have been to begin with. The only question is do you start SWA or move Murphy to the 4.

15/27 from the FT line

I've had one of those wine hang-overs that resulted in nothing going right. That what this game looked like to me. Meat Chicken was really good, but Auburn isn't that bad.

Maybe this team needs a monitor on their after game celebration???

I wish we had someone on the board who has had a poor sporting performance after an evening of imbibing the devil’s nectar, who could give us insight as to if that may have been the case tonight.

Yall really think the players went out drinking last night with $1m on the hook???

Not calling you out specifically AA7 because I love your basketball takes generally but some of the takes tonight are just dumb.

We have 30 balled many good teams the past 5 years.

If this Michigan team tonight play Auburn’s team from last year. They beat Auburn by 15.

That’s the most embarrassing half of AU basketball that I can remember in a long time.

The last time I remember us looking this bad was in Rupp Arena back in 2019 when we got our arse handed to us, then didn't lose another game till the stolen FF loss against UVA.

Unfortunately, we are not at the level of that 2019 team at this point.

Maybe these guys can get there...

This is about as good as your Freeze was a perfect fit as Auburn head coach, it just didn't work out for whatever reason take from a couple weeks ago when he was fired.

Absolute nonsense. The team last year came back from multiple 10+ point deficits early in the season against way better defensive teams than Michigan tonight, they were resilient as hell.

That loss bumped us down in KenPom from 19 to 35

19th offense 81st defense.

I'm just guessing, but shooting and defending that poorly is easily explained if a bad hangover is involved. I know, I've been there and done that.

There are plenty of Auburn reporters out there. If the players went out for the night it will come out. So I guess we will see.

I have the odds at…

99% they didn’t go out
1% they did go out

Dude we barely beat 2-5 Bethune Cookman in overtime.

We shot 42% from 3 tonight.

This whole season will be the hangover

That's nice and all, not sure what it has to do with last years Auburn team. Last year's Auburn team would have drilled threes in their face till they stretched the defense, then destroyed them inside with Broome, Chaney, and Tahaad drives. They sure as hell wouldn't have been able to get away with Yaxel at small forward against last year's Auburn team. Michigan's two 7 footers from last season are better than the one they were putting out there tonight as well.

The talent level across the board in college basketball is much lower this year compared to last year, simply because all the fifth year covid seniors left, outside of a few juco holdouts like Yaxel and CBM. It's much more of a normal talent year compared to the last two with the super seniors.

Was this the warning from Stephen concerning, "no moral victories"?
