Kessler is 3rd in Total Blocks so far in the season:

Chuma Okeke had minor arthroscopic surgery last week and is set to be re-evaluated mid-Jan. Another forgettable season for him after some flashes during early November.

You have no idea how thrilled I am that we need this thread. I spent a lot of time in N.C.; it's always annoyed tf out of me that our basketball was so meh.

You got that right. I split time between NC (basketball hell) and Birmingham (Gump hell). If we're not good at at least one of MBB or FB, it's pretty rough going.
Preferably both, of course.

Jabari hit 43.4% of his 3s in the month of December

Jabari with a career high 27 last night. Much needed because he had a rough couple of weeks. Rockets are pretty miserable.

Kessler also started and had 7 blocks last night and is starting to get noticed more around the league

Guy I follow on Twitter that is big into basketball, tweeted that if Kessler played enough mins to qualify, he would lead the league in blocks per 48 mins @ 4.94. The leader is at 4.4 and Jabari is 17th at 1.6 per 48 mins. Kessler has only started 8 games and averaging 19 mins a game. Pretty sick.

Big Walk is the first rookie in Utah Jazz history to have a 20-point, 20-rebound game.
He may end up being the best pro out of the bunch.

Having a great year. He’s in great shape to be on the all rookie team if he stays healthy and could even get in the rookie of the year mix if these last 3 games are the trend

Jabari Joking With LeBron
Love or hate LeBron, this moment with Jabari is pretty cool as an AU fan.
"You played against my dad in your first NBA game ever."
"You feel old?"

Somewhat shockingly.. Isaac Okoro is really emerging these last few weeks as a 3 & D stud. Shooting a blistering 62.5% from 3 in 2023. If you remove his 0-12 start to the season he’s been a 40% 3 PT shooter this year. Starting to be a real piece for a probable playoff run

The hope for Okoro was always that his defense would keep him in the league long enough to allow him a chance for his offense to improve. Thankfully it appears to be happening.
