He made one diving catch. Anything Bo throws that requires the WR to move their hands is inaccurate to jville.

I remember Pat Nix getting dumped for a safety because he heard a whistle from the LSU student section and stopped playing.

To some on here, if you aren't a Gus apologist, you are a big baby/miserable human/not a true AU fan/etceteras. That should not be the default position. The default position is you have to earn the fans' respect...every game.
I can't imagine a guy like Gus enjoys fishing, Lanier. (His loss, I know.) So, how is it the two of you became so close?

Sal has made some nice plays this year.
One of the more productive Juco products we have gotten recently.
He didn’t help Bo out against Oregon though and resulted in an INT.
I’m not sure why it’s so surprising that someone called Bo inaccurate. Against the better teams he has been.

That was a good catch, not a great catch. Certainly not a miracle catch. You expect your receivers to get to that ball. Also, that's just 1.

Or you could just be realistic. But I know. If you dont win them all, you should be fired. I mean, its the Auburn way

I think I saw an interview somewhere that he has never even been. Thought that was funny. But unlike some, I can deal with everyone. I actually have to. People do not have to think the same way as me or like the same things I do. I can also debate subjects without it hurting my feelings. You dont have to think like me to be "An Auburn man". I mean, Im just a silly sidewalk fan. WTF do I know anyway
But I think you are right in the end. Auburn should fire Gus and look for someone else. It is the only thing that is going to satisfy a portion of the fan base and keep them from complaining about every play call, decision, game result. Eventually, its the end game for him and Auburn

Don't we have pics of Gus fishing behind his house with recruits?

You expect receivers to catch balls they have to dive for, and they’re not great catches when they do?
Posted on 10/24/19 at 3:59 pm to jvilletiger25
On an all out dive over the middle of the field? No. On a 10 yard stop where the ball has to be put away from the defender on a half dive? Yes. I recall a tougher catch he made this year on one where he caught it on the run on a slant actually. Don't get spooked by a dive.

Please dont pull guards on pass plays expecting them to block effectively.

I see diving catches like that every week. It was a very good catch, and one we aren’t used to seeing WRs make but it’s certainly not “miraculous”

No thoughts on my Brahms comment? He is finally healthy and full strength after two years. Go check that hole Joiner ran through last week, when is the last time we saw a center get to the second level and throw an effective block.
He would put a little fire in the center of the line...just my thoughts, what the heck do I know I can barely get a decent feed most games, but I love me some Tigers and I got a feeling about this game, we show up, and we gonna eat, even if its only corndogs....

Pass Plays have Williams, Hastings & Schwartz on the field at the same time
play DJ more
have him not zero in on a receiver like he does as Hastings is open over the middle and that guy gets separation quickly...
LSU cannot double team both Williams and Schwartz
if we can't attack the middle with the run then ensure we hit the perimeter with the faster backs...

Run 40% less on 1st down.
Have gotten him some QB analysis from some not named Gus or Daddy.
and
Start some mid-game adjustments in the 2nd quarter.

Great point, Steele does this on the second series.
Usually (not against FL) but usually we have a good first drive on offense and struggle. Then come in the 2nd half and do the same shite (I dont know what they discuss during half, the chicks in the stands). Then sometime in the 3rd quarter the light comes on and we start playing again.
As many have said, this wont work Sat, we will be down by 5 touchdowns by then.

Dont try and test Stingley too much either. I've watched 4 LSU games this season and I think hes had a pick in 3 of them. Kid is already a legit lockdown corner as a freshman.
Will be interesting to see if they make him shadow Seth. If so, surely the offensive coaches can come up with some formations to get favorable matchups elsewhere on the field?
