Am I to believe that Freeze didn't know that was Moore that fumbled the ball until the reporter told him in the presser?

Yep

Petition to never allow Moore back on the team, period. That’s not the first game he’s blown.

Yep

The PR should always take a visit to the HC after turning over the ball like that. What the hell is Freeze doing. I saw Tuberville yell at Rod Hood over fumbling punts and Tuberville never yelled.

To be fair, I’m now questioning if it was actually Moore because apparently ESPN credited Scott with the muff. I can’t bring myself to watch the clip again so I’ll never know.

Other apps have Moore. I don’t trust ESPN to be accurate. If Scott wasn’t in on that last play, leads me to believe there may have been more to why Moore was in maybe?

Well Hoke just posted an update that Scott was supposed to be out there but tweaked his ankle on the third down before the punt so they had to put Moore out for that punt.

Yeah Scott even missed some plays on defense the next series out. I figured he was either hurt or gassed.

I get him not knowing beforehand because that’s what assistants are for, but I am surprised he didn’t know after the fact.

Baffling for sure, but at that point, he had a lot of other stuff to worry about. Who knows.

My guess is since it was a slight injury sub it happened relatively quickly. Special teams units have a 2 deep and they all go to that huddle. Hugh is probably not even paying close attention to the punt return (other than to see it's fielded) unless he's calling for a particular return or a block and instead was already on the headset with the offensive coordinator thinking about what to run to try to drain the clock.

As soon as there's a muff he's flipping a 180 to focus on defense. There's a decent chance after that Koy Moore basically never plays another down since he's not an offensive contributor and no chance he's catching punts ever again.

I still think it should've been offensive pass interference on the play, wild that only one was covering him

They had plenty of time to get the ball back even after the muff, we had 4th and goal from the 31 and blew it. Everything else is am afterthought
