Did we call essentially the same defense on the earlier 2nd down? Or did we rush three?

we lost when we called a TO and still sent two on 4th and goal from the 30. I told the wife we were going to do that stupid shite and give up a TD. So stupid.

Apparently Hugh said in his Post game he didn’t know Moore was the punt returner on the muff.

I didn’t have the warm and fuzzies on that play either. Props to Milroe for taking advantage of all the time in world and putting the ball in the only place he could’ve to give his guy a chance.

That defensive stand on the Last play was terrible. Should have rushed him would have had a better shot of tackling him if he took off

He should’ve made damn sure Scott was out there. Inexcusable error.

Normally 3rd and long gets a blitz or strong pressure, but noooooooo, our idiot DC gave bama all night to throw a Hail Mary 31 yards into the end zone! Damn that was dumb at a lot of levels.

our staff is shite. Fire half of them and bring in some guys who can actually make in-game calls. frick a "recruiter". Give me a competent staff who can coach.

No he doesn’t.

It’s either Tater Boy’s fault, Gus’s fault, or the players fault.

It can never be his or his coordinators fault because his genius is inpenetrable.

Muffed punt by a cold player with 3-4 minutes left.

I don’t listen to,the post game but was driving back, from in-laws after the game. The only coach that called it like it was Hugh said we did not do a good job of understanding situational football on the last play. I.E. Robert’s called a fricked up D thinking it was like playing a Hail Mary and you let the guy lob it up and bat it down. I hope Robert’s is Tony Franklin’d Monday by lunch.

You could argue that it worked out better after Bama miffed a snap and got a LOD penalty to get in 4th and Goal from, the 32.

It hurt. No doubt. But in the end, the last play decided it and there is no way that play can happen. We are not talking a play from the 10 yard line. WE are talking 4th and goal from the 31.

The bad snap on second down was the payback for the muffed punt. The voodoo happened. We just could not stop them from there. Pathetic

Yeah, I'm afraid I got bad news for you on that one. Hugh actually said in the presser that he "like the call" from Roberts (on 4th and 31)
