Just speculating for a moment but I think the reality is really starting to hit home for the big money boosters. I think there was probably enough arrogance there to think they could just get rid of him for cause and when that failed they figured they’d negotiate a buyout, give him a few million and he’d be on his way. Doesn’t look like it turned out that way. Harsin is saying it’s gonna cost you 20 million baby. So the reality is that even though these clowns have more money than they know what to do with, 40 million for 2 coaches in 1 year and the prospect of having to commit millions more to a potentially bad March hire really makes you question how much you don’t like the guy when you’re going to have to write him a massive check. Maybe they shouldn’t have tried to handicap him and been more supportive. I’ve never had to write a 20 million dollar check but I’ve had to pay some stupid tax a few times that really made me question how I handled things and how I wish I’d had done things differently

They can write those checks easy. Put it into TUF for the payoff. That’s a NFP and they get to avoid some taxes. It’s just a pride thing. They think he doesn’t deserve it.

I mean Steele Is def a possibility. If we have to pay Harsin the full buyout, we are paying sooooo much money for coaches to not coach. They may wanna go cheap for a bit
