I have Auburn tags on my truck and have been stopped and asked what the hell is happening in Auburn at least once per day since it hit ESPN

Because he missed a press conference? Gonna call BS on that.

I’m sure it was just many conflicts he had that the AD had finally had enough. Interesting I wonder who actually wanted him at Ark St?

They make stupid decisions on their selections and contract negotiations. I dont know if its the athletic department or the donors? Its a common trend that auburn is paying millions to ex coaches due to ridiculous negotiations. Offer shorter contracts in the terms of 2-3 years at 4-5 million. If successful add 1 year extensions with bonuses for bowls, playoffs, championship. Instead of a 1 year 10 win season netting a 40+ million contract.

I’m guessing we really didn’t vet him.

ADAG in the hot tub with him is all that was necessary.

Article also said he ditched a post game radio show in which someone had to go get him at his house.

There have to be more of us on the board that have worked at some point in your life for that VP, Director, Manager, etc… that was a complete cancer and piece of shite leader that failed to listen and effectively communicate with their employees. These are the people that run off good employees i.e. coaches and players, not the company. There are a whole bunch of flags here that seem to support Harsin behaved the same way at Boise and Arkansas St. Terrible hire and failure by ADAG.

It goes beyond just the firing and hiring. It’s the meddling.

Also, Tommy Tuberville had fan support and that whole fiasco was a mess involving Petrino.

If they want to be involved I wish they'd be part of the solution (NIL, support, winning) not the problem. It's insanity

Yeah I am beginning to change my tune. I say let's ditch him and move on. It is beginning to sound like he has a history of being a major dipshit to work with. I had heard rumblings about it from Boise people but didn't pay much attention. Now Arky State people are saying he was gonna be fired after one year but Boise called him just in time. He skipped out on pressers at Arky St. which is a big no-no. The AD actually had to go track him down and tell him that shite wasn't gonna fly.

I don't mind a tough coach, but you can't go around treating grown men (some of whom have also been head coaches) like they're children. I have no doubt he was an arse to both Bobo and Mason (both of who are older than him). You've gotta have people skills to be a coach, I don't care how good your x's and o's are.

At this point I hope AU digs up something "for cause" to get him. They are going to NEED it or else everyone will accuse them of being unreasonable and "JABA."

And even if I thought Harsin was swell, it ain't gonna work at this point regardless. So hopefully AU's legal team is top notch and can dig up something.

asked Marcello about the wording of "modified" and if that meant there could have just been a small change made to the policy.. He isn't sure yet, but he reached out to Auburn to find out more and get some clarification.

It is a new policy. All Auburn policies have an original date and if revised the dates of revision.

Also this is not directed at Hars, his contract covers that. The policy will cover the Boise group

Pretty fricking transparent and bush league adding that clause the day before he returns. They don’t have shite on Harsin and they are going to fire him anyway. I hope he’s got good counsel and gets a shite ton of money in addition to what they owe him.

Stop it. That’s the most idiotic attempt at leverage I’ve ever heard. Hey guys we are trying to fire your boy. Start talking or you’re fired too. Come on man. They’d be fired by the new guy before the inked dried on his contract. They know that and so do the idiots in the clown car

Can we just apologize to Gus and get him back at his old salary and reverse the buyout?
