I disagree.

I have no desire to let gus malzhan have full control.

So I guess keeping the DYE good ole boy network going is a good thing.

So who do you want to meddle if the Gus Bus moves here?

Took a bad team to nine wins with a freshman QB. Also has Noel Mazzone as his OC, the old Tubs reject.

plus it he is not a Jr. They have different middle names.

not if we hire someone who doesn't need a quality review.

I also wouldn't want petrino to have full control...mainly becuase he shouldn't be allowed to make any adminstrative hires

I think full control has turned into a buzz word that you guys are just throwing out a bit too haphazardly now.

meddling from tim jackson and full control are not the only options.

Step away from the ledge. Morris and Smart are just courtesy interviews. Petrino is #1 and has always been #1 and will interview last and will be announced on Wednesday. Malzahn has always been the fall-back candidate if something goes wrong with the Petrino situation. Fisher and Patterson have always said they will listen and perhaps talk to the committee but are unlikely to leave their current jobs. BMFP will be the next coach. You can write that

LB7 who is pretty darn reliable on the Bunker (I'd wager he is one of 3 or so who are) just posted this. Also said he does not consider Gary Patterson a home run hire

quote:

It seems it really doesn't matter what is posted, many are going to take info and make it fit their belief. My post from the other day is still the way the process is moving. Nobody has changed the plan or gotten off course. I am confident that the serious names being talked about on the internet are going to be interviewed. I'm also confident there are at least 2 candidates not being discussed that are/may be serious contenders. It is fun to follow this stuff, but all the speculation and rumors are just that. If a home run hire agreement is reached with someone, the search will be over immediately as you do not make them wait. If not, the process will play out and a coach recommended.

We get it avp, the thing is, you can't take some random guy seriously, until something he actually says comes true

So, if Petrino is announced Wednesday, we will all bow down in your glory. Until then, you are just another person who has another rumor

Thank you

Ok Gnar but a family member knows a board member very well. Also - another thing that will happen is Jay Jacobs will retire in March.
