JGT said one candidate is moving up his hot board to number 2 today...should come out before 6
but, unfortunately it seems like none of these frickfaces know anything...I can tell they're genuinely trying to do their jobs but you can tell none of them have any concrete info

Patterson moved to #2
A lot of people that are down on Petrino are big Patterson fans right now. Patterson is willing to interview w/out a guaranteed offer.
Says Petrino will get interviewed and has a lot of support.
We're told that Jay Gogue, who privately spoke of his reservations about Petrino a few weeks back, now is telling people he'll acquiesce to the committee's choice.
Mac Crawford taking a central role in the search and won't be pressured into supporting someone he doesn't like.

Patterson had one of the youngest teams in CFB this year, lost his starting QB, and went though a major drug scandal, yet still fielded a respectable team. People that don't like him are just being unreasonable about hiring Petrino.
