Quite a few of the drama queens, soft, and non performers are about to get a realist approach to hardnosed football. Hopefully they will be developed into serviceable contributors or purged entirely

Let's remember how Saban had to purge several players the first year and a few the second and not freak out over every transfer.

Indeed

He is about process so it will be an interesting 24 months. My guess is he took in all he could from Saban on process. Hopeful he did anyway.

Eff that guy... Yeah they are on top for now but I don't give a sh@t. Let's do our own AU thing and stop comparing everything to that other school.

I wouldn’t freak out except for the fact that Gus has already had a ton of kids wash out. Need some depth. Hopefully the transfer portal is good to Harsin this offseason.

Being frank AU should be implementing the UA process... Winning is the objective....

I’m kinda hoping we struggle next year.

When we win big right off the bat with new HCs, it doesn’t seem to work out in the long run.

Harsin seems to have a process. I think he was feeling unappreciated at his alma mater and decided it was the right time to make a move.

Either it works out for him (and AU) ir it doesn’t - but at least it’s a change from what we were getting.

I dunno, I would kinda prefer the start-well-and-maintain-success option myself, but that's just me.

While I would rather not struggle next year...I would rather we do what Auburn usually does by going undefeated or winning the SEC and making the playoffs...

...AND...

continue the success or being in the mix consistently..and not falling off the map...like under Gus..

THis is my Christmas wish! :)

What is this Saban connection to Harsin? And why are yall trying to compare him to Saban?

Sounds like bama obsession to me

Winning yeah but once again eff those guys. I want nothing to do with them. I'm so glad we hired a coach with no ties to that school.

it's not just you.

ETA I think we have plenty of talent on the roster. It just needs to be developed. Changing the way we go about strength and conditioning will be a huge help on the lines, IMO.

Comparing/obeserving the success of the most dominant football program seems natural.

AU just got fugged that the program is our instate rival

It's goin to be nice to see a couple of these guys who couldn't block 100 percent of the time given a chance or be used in other ways. And WR's that get to do what they were brought here for... which was not streaking down the field time after time with for no rhyme or reason. And Seniors... well enough said.

Obsession?

I am not shy saying I want the type of success they have enjoyed and you busting balls about it tells me you like mediocrity.

It's quite obvious Saban has figured out the recipe for long term success. Do you really think other coaches aren't trying to learn from what he has done?

I don't think there is a connection other than Harsin is big on process. Saban is first on my list to compare process guys to.. Are you so insecure that you struggle recognizing others for success even if it is your biggest rival.

Being successful is great but do we have to reference Saban and bama in all things Auburn? Saban this, and Saban that. Saban Saban Saban.

Its exhausting and so little brother

You're being a little overdramatic son. Settle down.
