I’m not full nega.

We have some quality players.

Our offensive line is better at run blocking than pass pro.

We mismanage situations often, and that is coaching.

I think we can beat Vandy.
Just need to take care of the football, limit penalties, and lean on our strengths- running the ball, punting, and defense.

I wonder how many of those voting for Vandy to win are doing so because they hate Freeze so much, they want Auburn to lose so they feel vindicated. There are a few Freeze haters there.

i’ve never cared for Freezus and i still want AU to win

that said, if Pavia was 100% and/or we had lost to UK i would pick Vandy without a moment’s hesitation

right now i think we have a pretty good chance of winning, despite the obvious truth that their coaching and playcalling have been far superior to ours

Thats a pretty bad take. My reason for making the statement to Corch in the beginning was because I dont think we can beat Vandy. Has nothing to do with what I want to happen. I will be happy with a month for another conf win. Thats how bad its gotten.

Ive said for years on here that people here use their heart, not their head. Same for this bet. You cant be emotional. It started because I did not and still do not think we will beat Vandy

They are just playing better than we are right now and its pretty easy to see

Corch and his gang will be taking pilates classes for a month and be in better health when they come back.

I remember how big of a deal Sears was. The store and catalog. It’s amazing that it eventually crumbled.

Mine too. I was one of the last ones out of century plaza as it closed for business.

I want Auburn to win and it looks like some players have lifted their games (O line notably) from earlier this season. However, objectively Vandy is the better team with solid performances in their SEC games so far. It all comes down to the mistakes and I believe Vandy will make less mistakes and win this game.

I hope I am wrong.

Good scheme with a good QB.

Something alien to us this year.

Lots of pre-snap motion, stay ahead of the sticks, only throw when you must. Win the time of possession battle.

Not unlike playing against a flexbone offense, really. Freeze mentioned this yesterday. Said it’s like playing Navy and talked about how the first time we got the ball last year when NM St was running it was at like the 5:05 mark in the first quarter. Also mentioned how Bama only had like 46 offensive snaps in that loss.

Much more like defending the old school veer.

We need to jump out ahead early on them and then run the ball heavily.

Force them to prove talent on the edge receivers down down field.

Freeze needs this win.

Sidebar Ive long said whenever we play Vandy we are in a downyear. This proves to be the case again. Our win against Vandy in 2016 or so we needed injured Sean White to come off the bench to save the day because we let JF3 dick around all game.

Just like the service academies it’s not an offense built for big comebacks. Yeah we need to get right on them.

Yep definitely Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt was the game where Pettway went beastmode in full glory. His 240 pound self was running like a deer, broke off a loooooong run that ended in an injury, and Pettway never recovered from that high point.

This is the kind of thinking that could be our downfall in this game. If we come out trying to score, score, score and have multiple three and outs, or interceptions we are doomed.

We need to do this from the outset. Make Vandy prove they have the players and the stamina to outlast us in a grinding run heavy contest.

Well we are doomed if we let them milk that clock as well. We cant let them do 15 play drives. We have to score, stop them, and keep scoring. Just one 15 play drive is enough to kill offensive momentum.

It's sad that an entire generation will see old Tim Allen standup and not understand the bit about going to Sears on his own terms. "I go past all that Lady Kenmore jazz...I go the the man area; Crafts-MAN. That's my area."

I'll be curious to see how Vandy's offense runs without Pavia under center. If they aren't so great we could be looking at another 3-2 type game.

That is their game. Dink and dunk long drives and play keep away. We have to be methodical, disciplined and turn that around on them.

Just remember folks. I’m a legit cooler. It’s why I don’t gamble. I’m betting against Auburn with stakes on the line.

Everything gucci.
