Because none of those things you listed are anything close to objective facts, they are just your opinions.. I would disagree with nearly every assertion you made. Exceptions would be he can’t jump high (true) and can’t finish at the rim well (yet)

How are those not facts? I'm assuming you watched the games. I don't see how anyone can disagree with that current view of him. If you think he can get better that's one thing, but to deny how he played last year? He played worse than Chris Moore and Lior but people act like he's Jabari or something.

I can see Aden as a Steph Curry type of player. Obviously not of the caliber of Curry, but he has similar build and athleticism. His handles are fine. His defense got better as the year went on. He just needs to find his stroke again and we're cooking.

I still think Aden is gone, fwiw.

Haven't seen anyone act like he was Jabari or even like he was as good as Tre. He did a good job taking care of the ball and running the offense, and held his own on a nationally elite defense.

He was a good role player for us.

The issue was his shooting was supposed to space the floor (which it actually still did, remarkably the scouts still respected his shooting ability despite the 30%) and at times take over games and it didn't play out that way. And he got to the rim anytime he was playing alongside our better shooting lineups, just didn't finish well. Solid role player.

During the regular season. Aden was a McDonald's All American for a reason.

This is the quickest revisionist history I’ve ever seen

Aden wasn’t what we expected but he was still all-freshman. He had a higher usage%, assist%, and lower turnover% than Tre all while being a true freshman. He also had a positive defensive +/-. He wasn’t an elite defender, but he held his own most of the time which is more than I expected. I thought we’d have to hide him and that wasn’t the case.

Tre was better than Aden this year, no argument there. But it wasn’t by a ton and this was after Tre already made a big jump from his freshman year. Neither PG was good enough for anyone on here to be freaking out over. Both were likely headed for the bench anyway.

He literally could not run the offense and he was our worst defender lol.

His usage% would suggest otherwise.

You do realize someone has to be the worst right? We had a very, very good defense this year and did so without having o change our defense to hide Aden, like we’ve had to do in the past with guards that couldn’t defend.

I thought the staff did the player meetings/evaluations when they got back in town? Did he skip his? If he did, that's not a good sign at all.

CBM is officially back or as official as it can actually get until he steps on the court next year.

Can't wait to see everyone flip sides if that's true lol.

I think CBM announced he's coming back, but its in Spanish and I'm dumb so..

Edit-- Smoke smoked me on the CBM news.
