That being said shooting around 30% overall is not competent.
So what was his actual shooting numbers? What was his assist to to ratio? Was it good?

The only remaining Sweet 16 teams that fit this are Duke, Purdue, and UCONN.

SDSU hanging close with UConn makes me sad.

I think we could have game UConn a run for their money if we played elite defense.

Assist to TO was 2.7-0.9

Overall shooting % was 31.8

3p shooting % was 30.2

His shooting % would be 50% if he could finish a drive layup

UCONN would’ve beaten us by double digits in Boston. It in all likelihood would’ve turned into a 15-20 point blowout.

Would have hung around but we didn't have the offensive fire power

Yeah I feel like it would have been a 7-10 point loss where their guards made more plays down the stretch

Seeing alabama make the Final Four would be horrific but maybe it’s what Bruce and Auburn need to light a fire under them to put an elite team together again.

Imagine 5 years ago saying a team from the state of Alabama was leading #1 North Carolina in the NCAA tournament in March of 2024 and it wasn’t Auburn.

Unreal.

Against Yale- 13 mins, 0 pts, 0 assist, 1 reb. There are just too many guards in the portal who have produced for us to be going back and worth over and guy who didn't produce.

Continuity is important. We all agree we need to improve production at the 1, we just think it’s weird you would be disgusted seeing him on the roster next year and are discounting any chance of improvement. None of us are comfortable just rolling out Aden/Tre at the 1 again

I don’t either but I’m trying to find a silver lining.
