Y’all realize UF lost to Vandy last night?

One bad game vs MSU on the road.

This is the game that bothers me the most.

I can live with all the other losses based on where and how they occurred.

But losing to state was the one game we should not have lost.

we should have won the game at bama too. Bad game at St. and bad half against bama from winning the league outright.

I always give teams a pass for losing at Vandy. That arena can mentally screw with teams.

Add the UK game to the list.
Held them to 70, and we couldn't throw water in the ocean that night.
If we shot anywhere near our season averages against them, we win that one easily.

17-55 .309 4-22 .182 21-30 .700

That is a pitiful stat line.

You can't yell at a player after a made 3 but you can grab them by the jersey and shove them? Refs are pathetic these days

The officiating in our last two games has been horrendous.
Let them play in the first half, then the second half is a foul fest and a review of something stupid every other trip down the floor.

The idiots last night letting UGA push and shove and grab jerseys nearly got to the point of a fist fight.
That is a perfect example of how to let a game get out of control, I'm just glad it didn't escalate any further.

Last 3 games. Happened vs State at home. I hate this officiating and constantly having to check if fouls should be upgraded

I’m very happy with this team and this season. Hate we missed some opportunities to win the title but dang this is a fun team.

We should be a sweet 16 type team but as we have seen if we don’t shoot well we can lose to any tournament team. But overall it’s been incredibly fun. Probably for me the most fun team for an entire season under Bruce. Maybe of all time but the 99 team would be tough to beat. The stretch to end the 2019 season not sure any team has had such a run before. Where we essentially blow out 2 blue bloods and win in OT against another in the big dance

I don't know what Knecht did to shoot like that, but it certainly worked. The announcers said that after practice he spends hours practicing shooting on his own. I can only imagine what his off season routines are.

AU is the only team to ever beat UNC, UK, and Kansas all in the same tourney. We would have run Texas Tech out of the gym to win the title too, if it weren't for the three blind mice in the UVA semi-final game.

I can’t remember, didn’t they review it? Or was that not in effect yet?

I just went and watched it because I hate myself. No review. I do think that particular "landing zone" call would be reviewable now but not positive on that.

In our game against them the announcers said Knecht shoots 5000 shots a week.

I was talking about the double dribble in the UVA backcourt that they missed. That was game over if it had been correctly called.

ETA: The foul on Doughty was probably the right call technically, but in that situation it is let go more often than not. That game will be stuck in my craw till the day I die. We would have destroyed TT in the finals. We were an awful matchup for them.

Yup… and UKs defense is pitiful, even when they win games.

It was an uncalled double dribble on UVA, so it couldn't have been reviewed.
I wasn't talking about the foul on the 3-pointer, but I don't think it would be reviewable either.
Regardless, we should have won the natty that year.
