One thing we haven’t talked about yet that concerns me is our lack of experience (and success) in tight games this year. Who is the guy that’s going to knock down the dagger when the shot clock is off?

It’s Chad Baker-Mazara.

He wants the ball.
He has the skill.
He has the confidence.

Next question please.

Sounds like Lior had an ACL injury and is done for the year, per Hoke.

I figured it was something serious by the way he reacted on the court. His season was going pretty well all things considered.

Dybantsa had glowing reviews from his visit. Said he’s looking for a family feel and a coach that’s going to be hard on him. Will take more visits in the fall before deciding.
Unless we switch to Nike its not happening, so its not even worth following close until we get an announcement on who we signed our apparel deal with.

JLee confirmed that his Nike deal ends summer 2025 so it wouldn’t be a factor, but JLee also made it sound like from what he’s hearing Nike might be the front runner right now for AU.

I can't see any reason he wouldn't resign with Nike. Great news though. I know the coaches have been vocal about what they want, I know the players have been pretty vocal about not liking UA, so hopefully in the next couple of months we hear something.

Under Armour shoes are trash performance wise. They are horrible. We have to switch for several reasons.

over the last five games, Auburn is shooting 44% from 3-point range as a team

that leads *all* of Division I men's basketball

That is amazing considering the Kentucky debacle.

I never pay attention to the metrics other than what I see posted on here but hear about how important than are all the time. How are we top 5-8 in the important metrics but on the 4-5 line according to the experts?

Resume vs metrics. Our resume sucks relative to other top teams but our metrics are elite and it’s kinda just splitting the difference. Resume meaning lack of quality wins using the quadrant system

If we had won 2-3 more games we are probably a 1 or 2 seed. Our Q1 record is going to keep some people from putting us higher than 4. But our metrics is going to probably have us as a 5 at worst.

We are on the 4 line because we are 1-7 in Q1 games. If we were 3-5 we’d be on the 2 line probably

If we had beaten South Carolina by 1 instead of by 40 I wonder how much higher they would be in the NET. It’s wild to me they are so low

How do these contracts work? I assume UA would offer us the most, but if we switched to NIKE would we at least get the same amount as UGA and Bama?
